Holiday Installation Guide – Retail

A retailer in the town of Solvang, The Copenhagen House (TCH) set goals to stand out among shoppers in a holiday shopping destination. Solvang, also known as the Danish Capital of America, or “Little Copenhagen” is nestled in the wine country of Santa Ynez Valley. Although the town does have some old-world Danish charm and stylistic architecture, TCH sought to bring modern Nordic culture into its Jule presence.

Enter the hoptimist. Very popular in Denmark, this small toy became the cornerstone asset of the graphic campaign. TCH has the largest selection of hoptimists in the US. I delivered a store installation guide for the JuleFest celebration, with several options to consider in meeting TCH goals to increase sales.

Animations were also created to support any social or outbound campaigns.

The Solvang brand aims to draw visitors to stay, shop and dine. The TCH brand will complement with Copenhagen haute couture, where visitors can delve into the rich history of Denmark, modern Nordic traditions and appreciate true meaning of “hygge”.
